Olivia Palermo + Chelsea 28 Collection for Nordstrom

Olivia Palermo was just tapped by Nordstrom to design a year's worth of collections for the brand's private label brand, Chelsea28. Olivia Palermo's yearlong partnership with Nordstrom includes four seasonal collections. According to WWD, the first Olivia Palermo + Chelsea28 designs will hit its department store shelves, and be available on, beginning in February. "It has a little bit of a Seventies feel, but it's modern and with a French touch," Olivia Palermo told WWD about the premiere spring collection. "I want the girl to figure it out and style it how she wants." The upcoming collaborative range will be priced from $68 to $448. It includes burgundy leather skirts, high-waisted trousers, printed silk "pajama" blouses, menswear-inspired poplin tops, denim culottes and a simple gray sweater with cutouts. "The [accessible] price is the important part," Olivia Palermo told WWD. "I always say it's not about how much something costs. If it's good, it's good."Olivia Palermo will work with Nordstrom's Seattle-based design team on each season. "Everybody loves a basic, but then you elevate the basic," Olivia Palermo said about her design aspiration. Olivia Palermo is also working on her ongoing beauty collaboration with Ciaté London Nail and Sephora, as well as a range of affordable jewelry for BaubleBar and a sunglasses capsule with Westward Leaning. Olivia Palermo also has experience collaborating with Aquazzura and Aspinal of London on accessories.
