Just married! Olivia Palermo makes a beautiful bride as she weds Johannes Huebl in intimate civil ceremony
Olivia Palermo has married Johannes Huebl after six and a half years of dating.
A week after it was alleged they'd had a secret wedding, the happy couple said 'I do' in an intimate civil ceremony with just a few guests.
The wedding took place on Saturday in Bedford, New York and Olivia could not have made a more beautiful bride. The socialite wore a cream jumper with ostrich feathers, a white tulle skirt and matching shorts all by Carolina Herrera, adding cobalt Manolo Blahniks to act as her 'something blue.'
'We really wanted to keep this beautiful day very private and special to us and enjoyed the whole day with our family and two friends,' Olivia wrote on her blog. 'Bedford is such an amazing and romantic countryside.'
The couple shared images of their happy day on the website. In one, they pose together as the new Mr and Mrs Huebl, while in the other 28-year-old Olivia frolics on the grass in the sunshine. The City star picked dewy, natural make-up with a slight smoky eye, and wore her glossy honey blonde hair in a pretty updo.
Of her beauty choices, she said: 'I wanted the make-up to be light and fresh and more focused about the lashes while keeping the eyes clean. My hair was in an uncontrived ponytail, one of my favorite personal looks.'
Johannes, a model, was the perfect compliment to his new wife in a custom Marc Anthony Hamburg white suit, and a navy Charvet tie.
